      WHAT YOU’LL DO:

      MGT is seeking a strategic, innovation-driven leader to oversee and scale its K–12 curriculum development and production team. This executive will guide the vision, quality, and operational excellence of our curriculum ecosystem — spanning instructional design, production workflows, quality assurance, print readiness, and digital delivery. The VP will partner closely with senior leadership to expand our curriculum portfolio, elevate instructional rigor, and deliver best-in-class materials aligned to district, state, and network standards nationwide.

      The Vice President of Curriculum Development and Production will:

      Strategic Leadership & Vision

      • Lead the strategic direction for curriculum development, instructional design, and production across all content areas and grade bands.
      • Build and refine the curriculum ecosystem, including frameworks, tools, quality systems, and workflow models

      Team Leadership & Operational Excellence

      • Oversee and develop a 20+ person team of Curriculum Developers, Writers, Directors, and cross-functional contributors
      • Establish scalable production processes to deliver high-quality print-ready and digital materials on time and within budget
      • Lead talent development, accountability systems, and culture-building initiatives

      Product Quality & Instructional Rigor

      • Ensure all curriculum materials meet rigor, coherence, inclusivity, and culturally responsive design principles
      • Integrate research-based practices and emerging pedagogical innovations
      • Oversee standards alignment and compliance with local, state, and federal requirements

      Innovation & Technology Integration

      • Implement technology and AI tools to improve the efficiency, quality, and scalability of curriculum development
      • Promote continuous improvement and adoption of new instructional and production technologies

      Client Partnerships & Business Growth

      • Support business development efforts, including solution design, scoping, proposals, and client presentations
      • Build and manage external vendor relationships to ensure quality and alignment to client outcomes
      • Represent MGT as a thought leader in curriculum and instructional design trends

      WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

      Leadership & Strategy

        • Bachelor’s degree; Master's or above preferred
        • Ten (10) or more years leading large-scale K–12 curriculum development and production teams, with at least five (5) years in senior executive leadership
        • Demonstrated success in defining vision, leading director-level leaders, and scaling multi-disciplinary teams (10+ direct and indirect reports)
        • Experience building systems, workflows, and organizational capabilities to support high-volume curriculum development, production, and publication
        • Proven ability to lead through ambiguity, drive operational excellence, and manage change across complex programs

        Instructional Expertise

        • Deep knowledge of standards-aligned curriculum design, including Science of Reading and research-based instructional practices
        • Expertise in aligning curriculum across grade levels and subjects to state and national standards
        • Experience taking products from concept through print-ready and digital production

        Client, Stakeholder, & Business Development Skills

        • Experience serving as a trusted advisor to district or network leaders; ability to build strategic client relationships
        • Business development or sales experience preferred; ability to articulate value propositions and support proposal development
