      This Opportunity:

      The Vice President of Human Resources is directly responsible for the overall administration, coordination, and evaluation of Human Resources functions, including: employee relations/culture, performance standards/evaluation, training/development, benefits administration, recruitment/onboarding, promotion and exiting, compensation/wage scale maintenance, policies & procedures, reporting and compliance, records management, employee recognition and events, employee safety and corporate compliance.

      What You'll Do:

      • Review and make recommendations to Executive Management concerning agency policies, procedures, and practices on personnel matters. Communicate changes in agency personnel policies and procedures and ensure proper compliance is followed.
      • Maintain knowledge of industry trends and employment legislation and ensure agency compliance. Take responsibility for agency compliance with federal and state legislation pertaining to all personnel matters.
      • Assist executive management in the annual review, preparation and administration of agency wage and salary program.
      • Ensure department managers have the necessary skills to assist them in carrying out their responsibilities on personnel matters, handle/resolve employee relations, employee issues, promotions/demotions, and staffing.
      • Supervise the staff of the Human Resources Department.
      • Participate on committees and special projects and seek additional responsibilities.
      • Assist in matters pertaining to benefits, policies & procedures, leave, personal issues, attendance, etc. Maintain all employee benefit plans with brokers and providers.
      • Collaborate with management to create job descriptions, performance evaluation criteria and organizational structure.
      • Provide consultative coaching and guidance on talent acquisition, training and development, retention, employee relations, performance management, policy and compliance across the organization.
      • Ensure agency safety programs and functions are effective, efficient and in compliance with local, state and federal regulations.
      • Complete all other duties as requested or required.
      • Ensure agency compliance program is efficient and effective and meets the needs of the agency.
      • Demonstrate knowledge of and comply with all agency, local, state, and federal policies, rules, regulations and laws.
      • Maintain all relevant training.
      • Drive and travel as required.

      Masters (Required)

      Certifications We're Looking For:

      Drivers License (Valid) - USA, SHRM - Society for Human Resources Management

      Experience We're Looking For:

      Human Resource Experience

      Schedule:

      Monday-Friday (8:00am-5:00pm)
