      • Provide protective escort to C-suite Executive.
      • Conduct protective advances both foreign and domestic.
      • Conduct site advances (visit and review planned sites to establish arrival/departure points, safe rooms if needed, emergency egress and safety features)
      • Conduct route advances, establish primary and secondary vehicle route to include route to hospital for given locations. Pre-drive primary route time permitted and coordinate with executive driver.
      • Coordinate efforts with staff/administrative personnel regarding run of show, walking routes, etc.
      • Establish POC at given locations, with security if available, as well as with federal, state, and local law enforcement.
      • Establish POC at U.S. Embassies and Consulates, U.S. Dept of State and available federal law enforcement regarding foreign travel, at given locations.
      • Coordinate travel safety measures with BNY RSMs in regions to be visited regarding the protective advances, as well as establishing means of transportation.
      • Prepare and provide/brief CSO and other members of Corp Security team as necessary regarding CEO travel.
      • Assist the broader corporate security team by providing solution-oriented advice and provide training, guidance, and leadership to younger team members.

      To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

      • Minimum of 15 years’ experience in executive protection
      • Minimum of 15 years’ experience conducting protective advances, such experience must include experience in multiple locations within the US, as well as foreign experience.
      • Minimum of 7 years’ corporate experience/executive level coordination
      • Prior experience in law enforcement required, preferably Federal law enforcement with foreign travel.
      • AED/CPR certified, BLS/Trauma certification preferred.
      • Comprehensive knowledge and experience with M.S. Office products
      • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
      • Excellent problem-solving skills and time management
      • Flexibility in terms of working hours.
      • Travel required up to 50%
      • Authorized to carry a firearm under the Federal Law Enforcement Officers Safety Act (LEOSA HR-218)
      • 4 year associated degree
      • Knowledge of current geopolitical issues impacting the financial services industry.

      BNY Mellon assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $79,000 and $175,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNYM total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and company- sponsored benefit programs.

      This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance and market factors.
