What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct individual needs assessments for victims/survivors of alcohol and drugged driving crashes to provide emotional support and referrals
- Develop and implement tailored case management action plans, including crisis intervention and support group facilitation
- Conduct community needs assessments to inform the development and implementation of victim services programs
- Establish a network of key individuals in legal, medical, and social service systems to support victims/survivors
- Maintain accurate case records, statistical information, and grant reports according to organizational standards
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in a human services field (e.g., social work, psychology, sociology, criminal justice) with a minimum of one year of experience in victim advocacy or grief support
- Reliable transportation for court attendance and a flexible schedule
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Demonstrated computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
