What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct individual needs assessments for victims/survivors of alcohol and drugged driving crashes, providing emotional support and referrals
- Develop and implement tailored case management action plans, including grief support and crisis intervention
- Accompany victims to justice proceedings and provide advocacy for their rights within the legal system
- Analyze community needs to develop and implement effective victim services and outreach strategies
- Maintain accurate case records and statistical information in compliance with organizational standards
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in a human services field (social work, psychology, sociology, criminal justice) with at least one year of experience in victim advocacy or grief support
- Reliable transportation for court attendance and a flexible schedule
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects in a high-volume environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with attention to detail and professionalism
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook, along with basic record-keeping skills
