      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Assist the physician with documentation of the patient's medical record
      - Complete detailed patient histories, including medical, family, and medication histories
      - Transcribe the physician's impressions, plans, and results of tests, prescriptions, and orders
      - Document any procedures performed by the physician or ophthalmic personnel
      - Attend required staff and educational meetings as requested while maintaining strict confidentiality

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Minimum of an Associate's Degree; Bachelor's Degree preferred
      - 2-3 years of experience as a Retina Scribe required
      - 1 year of experience as an Ophthalmic Assistant/Technician preferred
      - Proficiency in electronic health records and basic ophthalmic testing
      - Strong interpersonal and organizational skills

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience with specialized and advanced ophthalmic testing
      - Familiarity with sterile techniques and procedures
      - Knowledge of ocular medications and surgical procedures
      - Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient interaction
      - Certification in ophthalmic assistance, such as COA or COT
