      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Assist the physician with documenting patient medical records, including detailed histories and chief complaints
      - Transcribe impressions, plans, test results, prescriptions, and orders under the direction of the physician
      - Document procedures performed by physicians or ophthalmic medical personnel
      - Communicate with patients regarding appointment scheduling, follow-up care, and procedural instructions
      - Attend required staff meetings and maintain confidentiality in all documentation

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Minimum of an Associate's Degree; Bachelor's Degree preferred
      - 2-3 years of relevant Retina Scribe experience required
      - 1 year of experience as an Ophthalmic Assistant/Technician preferred
      - Proficiency in Electronic Health Records and ophthalmic terminology
      - Demonstrated ability to assist providers with 4-6 patient encounters per hour

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience with advanced ophthalmic testing and procedures
      - Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) and practice management (EPM) systems
      - Knowledge of eye anatomy, diseases, symptoms, and ocular medications
      - Strong interpersonal and organizational skills with a professional demeanor
      - Certification in relevant ophthalmic practices or techniques
