What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Support the educational and behavioral goals of students, particularly those with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Conduct diagnostic and functional behavior assessments, and implement behavior improvement plans
- Facilitate IEP meetings and write IEP goals and objectives
- Collaborate with classroom teachers to modify curricula and assist students in regular class assignments
- Communicate regularly with families regarding student growth and participate in planning non-instructional activities
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Current Ohio Intervention Specialist License
- Knowledge of State Standards and Common Core Standards
- Experience in an inclusion model or co-teaching in a resource room
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to pass federal and state criminal background checks (FBI/BCI)

- Experience working in a multicultural setting
- High level of comfort in a growth-focused coaching environment with frequent observations and progress monitoring
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Word and Outlook
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and contribute to a team
