What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Support educational and behavioral goals for all students, particularly those with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Conduct diagnostic assessments and functional behavior assessments
- Write and implement behavior improvement plans and facilitate IEP meetings
- Communicate regularly with families regarding students' academic and social-emotional growth
- Participate in planning and implementing non-instructional activities such as social events and field trips
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Current Ohio Intervention Specialist License
- Knowledge of State Standards and Common Core Standards
- Experience in full room inclusion or co-teaching in a resource room model
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office products including Word and Outlook
- Ability to pass federal and state criminal background checks (FBI/BCI)
