What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Obtain appropriate patient history and documentation to assist referring physicians in ordering imaging exams
- Review reports and provide information to clinicians on reported studies
- Distribute critical radiology test results as appropriate
- Act as a liaison between radiologists, referring clinicians, technologists, and nursing staff
- Oversee data collection for clinical trials and research studies while maintaining adherence to protocol requirements
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Associate Degree or certification (e.g., M.A., CNA, ARRT)
- Minimum of 2 years of progressively responsible directly related work experience
- Strong communication skills to manage interactions with radiologists and referring providers
- Ability to troubleshoot issues and maintain efficient operations in the reading room
- Proficient in handling phone calls and triaging communications effectively
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with proctoring programs and tracking proctored cases
- Familiarity with clinical trial protocols and FDA requirements
- Knowledge of developing and implementing new procedures and policies
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
