What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage phone calls to and from the reading room, triaging communication with radiologists and referring providers
- Obtain appropriate patient history and documentation to assist referring physicians in ordering imaging exams
- Distribute critical radiology test results to appropriate parties
- Act as a liaison between radiologists, referring clinicians, technologists, and nursing staff
- Oversee data collection for clinical trials and research studies, ensuring adherence to protocol requirements
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Associate Degree or certification (e.g., M.A., CNA, ARRT, etc.)
- Minimum of 2 years of progressively responsible directly related work experience
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to troubleshoot issues that arise in daily operations
- Proficiency in managing multiple tasks and priorities effectively
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in a radiology or healthcare setting
- Familiarity with clinical protocols and procedures
- Knowledge of data collection for clinical trials
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to build relationships with various healthcare professionals
