Job Description

Business owner for all commerce revenue for Vogue Shopping, including but not limited to affiliate, partnerships and emerging revenue lines
Develop a commerce proposition that establishes Vogue Shopping as a shopping destination in the minds of our audience, is differentiated within the market and adds value to the Vogue brand overall
Deliver growth targets through the implementation of a long-term strategic plans, as well as reacting to tactical opportunities and trade performance
Define the voice and visual identity of all Vogue Shopping content, working closely with the editor of Vogue.com and all creative leads
Oversee the assortment strategy across all content and the newly launched ‘storefront’ to support editorial messages and key commercial metrics
Build and implement merchandising tools to optimize category mix, brand portfolio and pricing architecture
Ensure all content and market assortments reflect brand voice and standards
Work with product and data analytics to develop critical reporting and proactively manage weekly trade
Develop, manage and grow exceptional retail and brand partnerships
Work cross-functionally to bring innovative partnership formats to market including affiliate and hybrid commercial opportunities
Oversee the content distribution strategy, with a solid understanding across organic search, newsletter, social media, paid campaigns and events
Team leadership and career development of the content and production teams to develop a best-in-class multi-skilled commerce team that successfully blends creativity with business insights
Collaborate with the product team and other CN titles to develop the commerce platform, user experience and performance metrics
Influence and guide global expansion of Vogue Shopping to emerging markets
Profit management including revenue and personnel costs

Deep understanding of the fashion and beauty industry, including editorial, brands and retail
7+ years experience in building an ecommerce or affiliate commerce business
Merchandising experience preferred
Proven vendor/partner relationship management with commercial viewpoint
Entrepreneurial mindset with experience in managing and coaching a small team
Comfortable with revenue forecasting and planning

Vogue Shopping Senior Commerce Director, is a key managerial role in the Consumer Marketing organization, reporting to the SVP Commerce. This individual is responsible for the development and execution of the overarching commerce strategy across the Vogue Shopping categories including fashion, beauty, home and travel. Success in this role will require exceptional editorial skills and strong business acumen; leading a dedicated team of editors and producers, with an extensive cross-functional network including editorial, product, marketing and data analytics to deliver ambitious growth targets.
