      Press Ganey unlocks deep and robust insights across the member journey for our health plan customers. Our Human Experience platform is designed to improve member experience, reduce member churn, and make Star Ratings better to accelerate plan performance. It all starts with feedback, insights, and analytics-delivered as only Press Ganey can.

      The VP, Market Lead, is responsible for leading all growth pursuits within the market focused on health plans. Qualified candidates would oversee teams and client relationships for the Mid West & West market (west of the Mississippi River).

      Duties and Responsibilities

      • Lead business development efforts across the market - with a keen understanding of white space across the region (both net new and expansion opportunities).
      • Lead and inspire clients. Based on an understanding of their needs, set forth a vision for what's possible by leveraging Press Ganey's suite of solutions.
      • Be a student of the business. Exhibit strong knowledge about top problems clients are trying to solve and how Press Ganey's solutions are uniquely positioned to meet those needs.
      • Own day to day management (training, coaching and sales education) of a team of Growth/Retention Sales professionals with responsibility for client growth and retention. This includes overseeing training and the utilization of Salesforce by internal sales team.
      • Navigate across Press Ganey to leverage experts, executives and sales engineers to participate in the sales process. Act as lead voice and guide for how these individuals will operate within the opportunity to ensure an optimal outcome.
      • Lead RFP Win Strategy and proposal development process, in partnership with Field Operations, to ensure the creation of compelling, client tailored, winning deliverables.
      • Lead contract negotiation discussions.
      • Partner closely with Marketing and Inside Sales to execute on prospecting strategies.
      • Make sales presentations to customers and prospects at all levels within given Market.
      • Highlight benefits and competitive advantages of solutions to facilitate client and prospect understanding.
      • Formulate a targeted growth plan for use in the market including lead generation, qualification and closing strategies. Partner with Marketing and Inside Sales to execute.
      • Exhibit strong presentation and facilitation skills.
      • Role model strong adherence to sales process and use of Salesforce.com as critical business tool.
      • Maintain a real-time understanding of the competitive landscape.
      • Maintain ongoing calls and communication with team to ensure tight alignment on growth pursuits, including ongoing 1:1 meetings and adherence to Salesforce reporting and dashboards.


      Qualifications:
      • 10+ years of sales experience to include technology, services, and consulting solutions.
      • 5+ years of managerial experience in a matrixed environment. Team size will be 5 - 7 growth professionals. Demonstrated experience of working with internal teams, including Legal, Finance, Product, Operations, and Implementation.
      • 5+ years of Enterprise Growth/Retention experience in the Health Plan segment.
      • Must have strong C-Suite/Executive interaction experience and presence.
      • Proven track record of growth/retention objectives.
      • Understanding of member experience is a strong plus.
      • Excellent interpersonal, communications, listening, and presentations skills.
      • Solid working knowledge of strategic account planning, execution of strategy, budgeting, business development and sales methodologies. Salesforce experience preferred.
      • Demonstrated solid leadership qualities and organizational skills.

      The expected base salary for this position ranges from $175,000 - $220,000. It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to base salary and a competitive benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus or commission tied to achieved results.
