- Contribute to strategic initiatives at the highest level specific to area of responsibility.
- Establish sales quotas, profit goals, and product mix expectations for the sales function.
- Produce sales forecasts and related reports for use in strategic planning.
- Develop and execute sales presentations.
- Meet the changing needs of the customer through the implementation and execution of the strategic sales plan, lead generation, and increased sales.
- Research the market and competitors.
- Collaborate with the marketing and product cross functional teams to develop effective promotional materials.
- Build relationships with customers.
- Travel up to 75%.
- Perform other duties that support the overall objective of the position.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Master or MBA is a plus.
- Or, any combination of education and experience which would provide the required qualifications for the position.
- 12+ years of experience in healthcare related sales.
- 5 years of recent management experience in a sales-driven environment.
- Experience implementing sales strategies, systems and processes.
- Knowledge of: Exceptional knowledge of solutions portfolio and specialty markets, sales and marketing methodologies and practices. Proficiency in Salesforce, Office Suite, and SharePoint.
- Skill in: Exceptional leadership, influencing, negotiation, strategic, analytical, judgment, communication and presentation skills. Client-facing executive-level sales acumen.
- Ability to: Take ownership and deliver results by executing business and sales strategies aligned with our growth objectives and deliver on monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets. Utilize customer profile and information. Communicate with senior stakeholders within the enterprise on matters that require explanation, interpretation, and / or advising. Work in a fast-paced environment; stay organized, prioritize workload, multi-task, and meet deadlines.
Job Description:
The VP of Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) Sales owns the strategy, execution, and results for NextGen's RCM sales business. This leader drives growth across RCM outsourcing, technology enabled services and automation, serving as the RCM expert alongside the ambulatory sales organization.
This role is for a hands-on leader who thinks about RCM sales every day-why we win, why we lose, how we position our solutions, and what the team needs to succeed. The VP sets the standard for sales excellence, owning messaging, training, and performance while leading and developing a high-impact sales team of 6 direct reports selling into our base and to new clients in the field. This position directly leads and develops a team of 4-6 FSDs, providing strategic direction, coaching, and accountability to drive consistent quota attainment and revenue growth.
Partnering closely with the SVP of RCM, Operations, Marketing, and executive sales leadership, this role aligns commercial strategy with delivery to maximize client financial outcomes and accelerate sustainable growth.
