- Lead and manage a high performing national sales team across multiple brands and product categories, promoting a culture of accountability, learning, and excellence.
- Set and execute and continuously refine sales strategies that drive growth across all brand lines, customer segments, and distribution channels.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with top buying groups and distributor networks.
- Monitor KPIs and adjust strategies to ensure consistent sales performance and margin improvement.
- Develop cross-brand opportunities and bundled offerings to drive upsell and cross-sell initiatives.
- Measure performance metrics to evaluate all elements of the sales efforts, from individual sales performance, to trade shows, to all other related efforts
- Lead efforts to align and integrate multiple product brands under a more cohesive parent brand identity.
- Collaborate with product and divisional brand teams to refine brand positioning and streamline messaging across channels.
- Ensure consistent brand architecture, visual identity, and voice across all marketing and sales materials.
- Provide strategic insight into the design, content, and functionality of a new unified website
- Oversee all marketing functions including online, social, and traditional campaigns.
- Drive lead generation, customer engagement, and conversion through targeted digital marketing strategies and oversee ESP, Sage and DC budgets (SEO/SEM, email, content, PPC, retargeting, etc.).
- Analyze marketing performance metrics and use insights to optimize campaign ROI.
- Partner with eCommerce and IT teams to enhance digital customer experience and support online sales initiatives.
- 10+ years of sales experience in the promotional products industry, with proven success managing a multi-brand portfolio within a top 50 supplier.
- Demonstrated experience successfully integrating multiple brands under a unified company strategy or parent brand.
- Strong knowledge of digital marketing tools, platforms, and performance metrics.
- Proven leadership ability with experience managing a sales team, including setting goals, measuring results, developing bonus plans, and ensuring accountability for results. Strong analytical skills, budget management experience, and ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Prior executive-level experience in a promotional products company.
- Leading marketing initiatives such as direct email campaigns, online advertising, and managing a marketing team.
- Experience in eCommerce or direct-to-consumer promotional product channels.
- Experience in a promotional products distributor.
- Familiarity with CRM and marketing automation platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
