Job Description1. The Storage Administrator is a person with the technical knowledge and experience to manage the customer environment.
2. The principal responsibility of the Storage Administrator position is to plan and manage the installation,configuration,administration and documentation of storage hardware according to best practices.
3. Ensuring high-levels of data quality and availability for all enterprise and customers in a 24x7 support Storage environment like Dell and Oracle Storage arrays.
4. New Host Integration with Storage arrays.
5. Installation and configuration of Multi-path software on hosts for load balancing and fail over.
6. Expertise in managing Fiber Channel SAN infrastructure including fabric architecture,switch directors and zoning.
7. Experience in Implementation and management Dell,Oracle enterprise and mid-tier Storage subsystems.
8. Experience in RAID Configurations and Disk management tools.
9. Experience in Performing Health Check of storage arrays and switches.
10. Experience in Performing storage allocation based on the server requirement.About the company
