      What to Expect?

      The Warehouse Manager I will increase operational efficiency, company profitability and customer satisfaction by directing and coordinating activities of the warehouse. Our Backup Drivers will fill in as needed making safe, complete, accurate and on-time deliveries to customers while complying with Department of Transportation (DOT) and other applicable regulations.

      On a daily basis our Warehouse Manager I:

      • Supervises, trains and motivates warehouse employees.

      • Assists in accurately pulling, filling, packing and setting up orders for delivery or pickup.

      • Organizes shipment priorities, such as UPS, commercial carrier, daily, job site and will call and stages the orders in uniform fashion for ease of loading and verification.

      • Manages Safety and HAZMAT compliance for the facility.

      • Establishes operational procedures for verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling and disposition of merchandise, and keeping of warehouse inventory.

      • Assists in loading the delivery truck.

      • Receives shipments, logs into inventory, maintains inventory through audits.

      • Maintains effective security and inventory control procedures.

      • Manages driver-related issues including drug screens & licensing and handles fleet issues including DOT compliance.

      • Assists in keeping facility clean, neat, safe and operating efficiently.

      • Processes returns accurately.

      • Ensures all equipment is stored at end of day and all doors and gates are secured.

      • Maintains proficiency in computerized systems and other technologies as required.

      • Other job duties may be assigned.

      On an as needed basis our backup drivers:

      • Make deliveries using the most effective route to ensure orders are delivered on time.

      • Load and unload the vehicle, ensuring that all products are properly secured, and hazardous material is separated appropriately.

      • Collect payments and accurately document delivery.

      • Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSR)).

      • Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and inform supervisor of any maintenance needed.

      • Ensure the vehicle is clean, well-maintained, and presentable on a daily basis.

      • Increase job and product knowledge on an ongoing basis.

      • Perform other duties as assigned.

      What You Will Need:

      • 3+ years of supervisory and warehouse management experience.

      • Delivery operations experience and knowledge of full warehousing systems.

      • The ability to communicate effectively with customers and members of management.

      • Prior forklift experience.

      • Strong MS Office skills.

      • Experience in PRELUDE or other warehouse inventory software.

      • Ability to work at heights and regularly move and lift up to 100 pounds.

      • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.

      • A valid driver's license (Commercial Driver’s License, CDL, if applicable), preferably with HAZMAT endorsement.

      • A Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and Pre-Employment Screening Program (PSP) indicating no more than 2 combined violations or at fault accidents in the past 3 years.

      • To be at least 21 years old.
