Job Title: Warehouse Manager

Job Description

The Warehouse Manager will oversee the warehouse and inventory operations for a manufacturing company. This role involves managing materials, organizing warehouse inventory, and ensuring the efficient distribution of materials to production and customers. The position requires familiarity with handling hazardous materials, including various gases. The primary task is to create an organized and efficient warehouse environment that enhances workflow. Inventory management will be conducted using SAP, and the manager should have a vision for optimizing warehouse operations. The role involves supervising both first and second shifts, with approximately 15 team members at peak times.

Responsibilities

• Manage and organize warehouse inventory and materials.
• Distribute materials efficiently to production and customers.
• Handle hazardous materials and ensure safety protocols are followed.
• Create an optimized warehouse environment for efficient operations.
• Oversee first and second shifts, managing a team of up to 15 people.
• Conduct safety checks and audits on materials.
• Collaborate closely with the manufacturing team.
• Manage employee outputs and team goals.
• Coordinate shipping, primarily domestic with some international.

Essential Skills

• 10+ years of experience in warehouse management.
• Strong skills with SAP and inventory management.
• Experience handling dangerous goods and hazmat certification.
• Proficiency in inventory control and warehouse management systems.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in logistics and managing vendors, suppliers, and customers.
• Experience in manufacturing environments.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Work Environment

The role is based in a large warehouse, working closely with teams across two shifts. The first shift consists of 5 people, and the second shift includes 4 people. Working hours are from 8 am to 5 pm.

This is a Permanent position based out of Haverhill, Massachusetts.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $110000.00 - $130000.00/yr.
