- Managing all warehouse staff: Event Day Packers, Warehouse Associates, and Event Stewards.
- Responsible for the overall cleanliness and organization of the warehouse and offices.
- Recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and training new and existing warehouse staff and supervisors.
- Utilizing ATS and payroll system, Paycom, to manage employee profiles, approve and monitor payroll, and facilitate recruitment efforts.
- Creating and communicating equipment pull sheets and assist with pulling equipment for events.
- Ensure monthly inventory is counted and submitted.
- Create and monitor the warehouse monthly labor budget guided by event schedule and staffing needs.
- Attend weekly BEO meetings to ensure full understanding of scheduled events, equipment needs, and logistical details.
- Manage company truck management/maintenance. Assuring that vehicles are clean, fueled, and safe for use at all times
- Performs transfers of products and/or merchandise to and from the warehouse
- Responsible for receiving products and merchandise, checking for quality and damages to items, and the proper storage of the delivered products and merchandise
- Manage the warehouse team in loading and unloading trucks, transferring equipment between outlets, and making deliveries or driving to events when needed.
- Processes requests for supplies, prepares merchandise for delivery, and prepares packages for shipping according to established procedures
- Responsible for managing rental equipment, assuring that pick up and delivery of items are accurate and on time. This includes linens, tables, chairs, chinaware, glassware, silverware, etc.
- 4+ years of warehouse lead experience
- Must be available for a variety of shift times (nights and weekends are needed)
- Must have a valid driver’s license, clean driving record, ability to be DOT certified and have the ability/willingness to drive box trucks.
- Experience in operating common warehouse machinery including forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.
- Must be a leader that possess great communication skills
- Must be comfortable working in a warehouse environment and following and communicating all safety protocols
- Must have a strong work ethic and be well organized
- Must be proactive and a hands-on leader

- This is a salary position with a range of $80,000 - $85,000/year.

Proof of the Pudding is seeking an experienced Warehouse General Manager to assist in the coordination of off-premise catering events. The Warehouse General Manager responsibilities include helping manage warehouse inventory and team members, effectively distributing food and equipment for multiple events throughout the week, coordinate truck schedules and maintenance, and help train warehouse and operations team members.
The Warehouse General Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of warehouse operations, including inventory management, product distribution, and team leadership. This role ensures efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with company standards while optimizing workflow and maintaining a high-performing team. The ideal candidate is a hands-on operations leader with a strong track record in inventory control, efficient product distribution, fleet management, and exceptional leadership. This position is based out of our corporate office in West Midtown.

Work Environment
The work environment for this position ranges daily. On average 20% of the typical job duties will include office work while 80% of the duties will be performed as the “boots on the ground” manager. The work environment will largely be in the warehouse, associated offices, and onsite at events.
