Our team is dedicated to making not just products, but a lifestyle that is truly sustainable.If the idea of building out the future sparks your imagination and intersects with your skills, we'd love to meet you.Role Summary Role: Warehouse Materials Manager Location: Fremont, CA Role Summary Pebble is seeking an experienced and hands-on Warehouse Manager to oversee all warehouse and material management functions at our Fremont facility. This role will lead daily warehouse operations to support manufacturing and production needs using Netsuite ERP system, ensure timely material flow through Kanban and line-side delivery systems, manage inbound freight scheduling and third-party warehouse logistics providers. You will be responsible for the control and accurate movement of all production materials both on and off-site. Furthermore, you will be responsible for storage, transport and tracking of finished vehicles. Although you will be primarily focused on the control of production materials and finished goods, you will also need to have a strong understanding of outbound international shipping and monitoring of inbound shipping arrival schedules to facilitate scheduling receiving operations. You will occasionally interact with our Customs brokers to resolve potential delays to the materials receiving schedule. You will supervise warehouse staff and play a key role in establishing scalable systems and best practices to support our rapid growth. Pebble is a start-up company so in addition to providing warehousing leadership, you will also be expected to regularly participate hands-on with daily operations tasks.Key Responsibilities Oversee and manage all warehouse operations including receiving, putaway, inventory control, material storage, line-side delivery and finished goods storage.Ensure timely and accurate flow of materials to support production schedules, utilizing Kanban systems and lean material handling techniques.Supervise, train, and develop warehouse employees, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.Coordinate inbound freight deliveries, including scheduling, tracking, and vendor communication.Manage relationships and performance of third-party logistics (3PL) warehouse service providers.Implement and improve material handling processes and tools to optimize space, efficiency, and accuracy.Collaborate with manufacturing, procurement, and supply chain teams to forecast material needs and resolve bottlenecks.Maintain accurate inventory records and support cycle counts, reconciliations, and audits.Enforce safety protocols and compliance with all applicable regulations and company policies.Develop and maintain processes for material control and movement with integration into ERP systemsMaintain data files and publish regular operations reportsQualifications 10 years of combined experience in warehouse, logistics, dispatch or material management roles.5 years direct experience with warehouse materials management5 years people leadership experienceHands-on experience with Kanban, lean processes, and line-side replenishmentStrong knowledge of inventory systems, warehouse layouts, and ERP software (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle or similar).3 years experience working with third party warehouse logistics providersProven ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, startup-like environment.Strong knowledge of inventory control with specific experience in cycle count programs3 years experience direct or indirect working with import documentation2 years experience preparing or managing outbound international shipmentsExcellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.Small package shipping management experience using either UPS, FedEx, USPS or DHLCan demonstrate the ability to transport palletized freight using a ForkliftStrong knowledge of spreadsheet construction and spreadsheet data analysisExperience presenting management summaries to company leadershipBachelor degree from an accredited UniversityAutomotive industry experience is a plus.Salary Range - Fremont, CA$118,000 - $150,000 USDApply for this job *indicates a required fieldFirst Name *Last Name *Email *Phone *Resume/CV *Enter manuallyAccepted file types: pdf, doc, docx, txt, rtfEnter manuallyAccepted file types: pdf, doc, docx, txt, rtfEducationSchool Select...Degree Select...Select...WebsiteLinkedIn ProfileAre you currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without sponsorship? * Select...Will you now or in the future require H1-B visa sponsorship for employment in the US? * Select...Voluntary Self-Identification For government reporting purposes, we ask candidates to respond to the below self-identification survey.Completion of the form is entirely voluntary.
