      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Review orders, opinions, and the complete appellate record for cases
      - Analyze briefs, conduct legal research, and consult with the Justice and court staff
      - Prepare prehearing memoranda summarizing case facts and legal authorities
      - Assist in preparation for oral arguments and attend court hearings
      - Draft opinions and prepare memoranda on motions in pending cases

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Graduation from an accredited law school
      - Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
      - Demonstrated integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality in all interactions
      - Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment
      - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with proficiency in legal terminology

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience with moot court and/or law review
      - Familiarity with Washington State and federal law, court procedures, and the appellate process
      - Ability to work collaboratively and build effective relationships with colleagues and stakeholders
