We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Mailroom Clerk to join our team. This role supports daily mail and document processing operations in a fast-paced environment. The position involves handling incoming and outgoing mail, operating mail-opening and scanning equipment, and ensuring documents are processed accurately and efficiently.

What you'll be responsible for:

• Process incoming and outgoing mail to meet daily production and service goals.
• Open incoming mail using industrial mail-processing equipment and remove contents from envelopes.
• Sort and organize documents for scanning.
• Operate scanning equipment to upload documents into internal systems.
• Review documents for accuracy and completeness before scanning.
• Handle time-sensitive and confidential documents with attention to detail.
• Process outgoing mail, including metered mail and overnight packages.
• Apply correct postage and maintain accurate processing records.
• Perform quality checks on scanned and processed documents.
• Resolve minor processing issues and escalate more complex concerns when needed.
• Support team members by sharing knowledge and best practices.
• Participate in cross-training to learn additional document processing functions.

What youll bring:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous mailroom, clerical, administrative, or document processing experience preferred.
• Experience with filing and general office tasks is a plus.
• Ability to operate scanning equipment and follow established procedures.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume production environment.
• Comfortable using industrial mail-processing equipment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
