Duties

  • Serve as the Occupational Health Clinic's main point of contact with the Human Resources Departments.
  • Provide assistance to professional staff on retrieving data for research and diagnostic purposes.
  • Provide information on retrieval of data through the computer or other means to medical staff as necessary.
  • Audit all completed Pre-Employment, Worker Skills Progression Program paperwork daily.
  • Track required lab and x-ray results for Occupational Health Clinic providers.
  • Act as the Occupational Health Clinic point of contact to shop supervisors for all civilian medical surveillance questions, including qualifications and operating license issues.
  • Responsible for tracking all consult requests for outside medical documentation as requested by Occupational Health Providers.
  • Coordinate all specialty physicals performed in the Occupational Health Clinic.

Requirements

  • This position has a mandatory seasonal influenza vaccination requirement and is therefore subject to annual seasonal influenza vaccinations.
  • This position requires Basic Life Support training certification from, or in accordance with, the American Heart Association and American Red Cross. Current Advanced Life Support or other advanced certification does not supersede BLS completion.
  • A Personnel Security Investigation is required.
  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Selectees will be required to sign a statement (Condition of Employment) consenting to seasonal influenza vaccinations or must provide a recognized exemption.
  • Immunization screening is required. Hepatitis B immunization is required for all positions with direct patient contact. Applicants may be required to show proof of other immunizations depending on the type of position.
  • Probationary Period - 1 Year may be required
  • This position requires the incumbent to have Tuberculosis Testing and/or record of Tuberculosis Testing.
