Memory Care Director

Complete Care is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Memory Care Director (Full Time) to join our team. Responsibilities of the Memory Care Director:

• Hire, train, and supervise memory care staff while ensuring proper staffing and backup coverage at all times.
• Oversee departmental budgeting for on-site services, marketing, and other needs.
• Develop, implement, and continuously update a dynamic memory care program tailored to our residents’ needs.
• Represent Complete Care at Westfield positively while building strong connections with potential residents, families, and healthcare professionals to grow community occupancy.
• Lead quality improvement initiatives, strategic planning, and environmental safety programs to ensure a secure environment for residents, staff, and guests.
• Review and address incident/accident reports with follow-up improvements.
• Foster open and compassionate communication with residents’ families and care teams, keeping them engaged as part of the extended care family.
• Provide education for staff and families about dementia care and best practices.
• Partner closely with activities staff to encourage meaningful resident engagement.
• Plan and direct programs that meet the mental, physical, spiritual, and social needs of residents, including partnerships with local community organizations.
• Participate in ongoing dementia training alongside the care team to ensure the highest level of service.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Previous experience in assisted living or skilled nursing.
• Bachelor’s degree
• 2 years supervisor experience in memory care or SNF
• Strong problem-solving skills and leadership abilities.
• Excellent communication skills to connect with residents, families, and staff effectively.
• Bilingual is a strong plus
