Nursing Home Administrator

You are already an expert. Robson Forensic will train you to be a forensic expert.

You are a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator with a BSN and RN experience. You possess a deep understanding of long-term care operations and patient safety. This role asks you to bring this same set of skills and knowledge to a new opportunity. You will work alongside nationally respected experts on casework that is consequential to industry and society, and you will keep learning for the rest of your career.

Prior forensic experience is not required. We hire for deep industry knowledge and teach the rest.

What you will do:

• Investigate cases within long-term care facilities.
• Analyze complex scenarios, applying your comprehensive knowledge of standards and practices.
• Write clear, scientifically sound reports.
• Provide expert testimony.

You will delve into the "why" behind incidents, critically assessing decision-making, operational procedures, and the standard of care.

What we require:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Nursing (B.S.N.); Master’s degree is a plus.
• Certifications: Active Nursing Home Administrator & RN licenses; CWON and/or WCC certifications are preferred.
• Experience: 5+ years of broad and current nursing home administrative and operational experience in a Long-Term Care Residential Facility (DON, RNAC, WCC, and DWC a plus) and 10+ years of clinical RN experience, especially in pressure injury prevention.
• Skills: Exceptional analytical and communication skills (written & verbal).
• Other: A clean background screen, a driver’s license, and the ability to drive.

Work style:

Approximately 20% of the role is travel for training and inspections. The remainder is investigation, analysis, and report writing, working independently and as part of a collaborative team. Our experts offer and receive support/mentoring in a firm with over 100 scientists, engineers, and other professionals and manage a portfolio of 50-70 projects/clients.
