The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a Procurement Analyst/Price and Cost Analyst responsible for the review or acquisition requirements and contracting actions. Develops guidance material and provides technical advice to management, Program Managers, and Project Officers to include extensive negotiations involving cost or pricing data and special or unusual contract items.

• All new DCIPS employees are required to complete a two-year DCIPS trial period.
• A security clearance may be required

• Position may be subject to random drug testing
• Employee may be required to work other than normal duty hours, to include evenings, weekends and/or holidays
• Shift work and emergency overtime may be required

• Employees and family members requiring medical/dental care in the overseas location are responsible for obtaining/paying for care. Access for these members to military medical/dental treatment facilities is on space-available/reimbursable basis only.
• Depending on the type of position (competitive/excepted) you are selected for, you will be required to serve a 1-year probationary period OR 2-year trial period.
• Upon completion of your probationary/trial period, your employment will be terminated unless you receive certification, in writing, that your continued employment advances the public interest.
• Employee may be required to undergo CI polygraph examinations in accordance with security regulations involving material handled.
• The employee may be required to travel in military and/or commercial aircraft to perform temporary duty assignments.
