New Pig is currently seeking au00A0Product Support Specialistu00A0to provide world-class service to both internal and external customers regarding product-related informational needs, to assist with corporate projects and product training. This position requires a positive and detail-oriented individual who is focused on completing accurate work that is in accordance with standards and policies.u00A0

Position located at our Duncansville, PA location. Shift is 8:30am-5pm.

Responsibilities
:u00A0u00A0

  • Identifying and providing product solutions for customers based upon application and regulatory needs via phone, email, chat, and occasionally in person
  • Moving customers through the buying journey from application discovery to closure of the sale
  • Answering technical questions about our product line to internal and external customers
  • Troubleshooting and resolving product problems and issues
  • Participating in new product development, including providing input for new ideas, participating in new product introductions, and providing post-launch support
  • Assisting in developing and editing technical information for the catalogs, website, content pieces and other promotional material
  • Conducting research projects in support of market research, product development, product management, and marketing
  • Staying up-to-date on product, industry, and regulatory subjects by completing research and training
  • Adhering to New Pigu2019s Safety, Environmental, and Quality standards
  • All other duties as assigned

Requirements:u00A0u00A0

  • Bachelor's Degree inu00A0Environmental Science, Chemistry, Biology, Safety Science or related field preferred, though candidates with a strong combination of relevant experience, technical product support, field experience, or industry-specific training/education/experience are encouraged to apply
  • Previous experience supporting technical products or specialized customer inquiries preferred
  • Ability to understand, explain, and apply environmental or workplace safety regulationsu00A0
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong multitasking skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently
