Purchasing Coordinator

The Purchasing Coordinator is responsible for receiving and processing invoices for payment through the BirchStreet procurement system while ensuring the accuracy of all items, quantities, and pricing associated with purchase orders. This role reviews invoices for discrepancies, works directly with vendors and internal departments to resolve issues prior to payment processing, and tracks invoices through the payment cycle to ensure timely completion. The coordinator manages vendor payment schedules, maintains accurate supplier records within BirchStreet, and prioritizes payments to ensure invoices are paid within established credit terms.

• Verbal and written Communication Skills
• Possess a minimum of one (1) year relevant experience.
• Possess intermediate level MS applications knowledge and proficiency.
• Knowledge/ skill in Inventory & Warehouse Management
• Knowledge of Basic Accounting Procedures
• Must be Customer Service inclined.
• Be deadline and detail oriented.
• Be able to lift, push or pull about 40lbs;
• Have a strong desire to learn and grow.
