  • Collaborate with Information Technology, Finance, Clinical, and Operational teams to implement new programs, services, and system enhancements.
  • Research, analyze, and resolve billing discrepancies, claim rejections, denials, and reimbursement issues.
  • Support accurate claims submission and reimbursement across Medicaid, managed care, commercial insurance, and other funding sources.
  • Participate in billing reconciliation activities, revenue cycle reviews, and related team meetings.
  • Monitor billing data integrity and identify opportunities for process improvements that enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Serve as a technical resource for billing system functionality, claims processing, and revenue cycle best practices.
  • Communicate effectively with internal departments, funding sources, insurance carriers, and external stakeholders regarding billing matters.
  • Maintain compliance with organizational policies, confidentiality requirements, and applicable federal, state, and payer regulations.

Qualifications

Required

  • Associate degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Information Systems, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Three (3) years of experience in healthcare billing, revenue cycle management, EHR administration, or a related field.
  • Experience working with electronic health record (EHR) systems and billing platforms.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred

  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Information Systems, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Experience with Evolv EHR and related billing applications.
