About this job

Our client, a Financial company, is looking for a Senior Big Data/Machine Learning Engineer for their McLean, VA location.

Responsibilities:

  • RISK - AML
  • Nexus is a data engineering team, that provides Customer data, Transaction, data Investigate data to AML for thorough job
  • This is within the Transaction Data to build data pipelines for AML use cases, eg: Wires pipeline, data from enterprise payments and process transform into one lake data lake
  • A big initiative for cash transactions in to this space, 20-30 Data pipelines building, reading data from various different LOBs, transforming and enriching to meet the quality expectations
  • Building Cash data pipeline, Client migration, how to use them for Cash Data pipeline
  • Pipelines are on PySpark, AWS Glue, & Snowflake

Requirements:

  • Hands on Data Engineer role with strong Python, PySpark, Data Engineering, SQL & AWS background
  • Build data pipelines, thorough testing, test data, validation, provide production support, for contingent staff workers
  • On call Support expectations, rotational basis, Wed-Wed once in a 6 week.
  • Top Skills:
  • 5+ Yrs exp is a must
  • Python & PySpark exp is a must
  • Snowflake & SQL exp is a must
  • AWS exp is a must
