About this job

Let's introduce ourselves

Senior DevOps Engineer, Digital Operations, Security & Infrastructure

Mahwah, NJ (on-site)

The Digital Operations, Security & Infrastructure teams sit within the Digital organization and are responsible for the end-to-end Digital Operations and Support of the digital landscape in the Americas region.

As the Senior DevOps Engineer, you design, automate, secure, and operate the cloud infrastructure and software-delivery capabilities used by engineering teams. You work closely with software engineers, engineering management, product teams, security, architecture, and global platform teams to provide reliable delivery pipelines and production environments for the Americas market.

You are responsible for infrastructure as code, continuous integration and delivery, cloud-platform reliability, observability, incident response, environment management, security controls, and operational documentation. You provide senior technical leadership without replacing application-team ownership, enabling engineers to deploy changes safely and operate their services independently.

Because the role supports multiple products and shared platforms from development through production, it is essential to understand the full delivery system. This includes source control, build and test automation, artifact management, cloud networking, identity and access, compute, storage, APIs, containers, caching, secrets, telemetry, release controls, third-party integrations, and disaster-recovery dependencies within scope.

What you'll do

Act As DevOps Liaison Between Engineering and Platform Teams

  • Work closely with engineers, product teams, architecture, cybersecurity, privacy, data, network, and global platform stakeholders in the Americas and Sweden to define infrastructure and operational requirements.
  • Translate application, business, compliance, and service-level requirements into practical cloud architecture, deployment, observability, and support plans.
  • Act as the senior DevOps subject-matter expert for the teams, reviewing designs, resolving complex platform issues, and mentoring engineers in reliable delivery and production operations.
  • Coordinate shared environments, platform dependencies, release constraints, and operational ownership across Tier 1, Tier 3 websites, Salesforce, mobile, data-information, and supplier teams.

Build and Operate Cloud Infrastructure

  • Design, provision, configure, and maintain Azure infrastructure supporting web applications, APIs, serverless workloads, containerized services, caching, integration services, and supporting data flows.
  • Develop and maintain reusable infrastructure-as-code modules and version-controlled environment configurations that support repeatable, reviewable, and auditable deployments.
  • Engineer production environments for availability, scalability, performance, fault isolation, backup, recovery, and controlled failover based on product criticality and business requirements.
  • Manage cloud capacity and resource utilization, identify cost and performance inefficiencies, and recommend changes that preserve reliability while reducing operational waste.

What you'll bring

  • Strong technical knowledge and strategic and analytical judgment, with clear problem-solving, incident-management, decision-making, and written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven senior-level experience in DevOps, site reliability engineering, platform engineering, cloud infrastructure, or production operations for enterprise web systems.
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Azure, infrastructure as code, GitHub Actions or comparable CI/CD platforms, containers, and automated software delivery.
  • Working knowledge of cloud networking, DNS, TLS, identity and access management, OAuth/OIDC, secrets management, APIs, load balancing, caching, backup, and disaster recovery.
  • Ability to automate using one or more programming or scripting languages such as TypeScript, JavaScript, Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Experience supporting distributed full-stack applications and collaborating across software engineering, architecture, security, product, business, and external supplier organizations.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.

Salary Range

• $105,525 to $182,091

Compensation is determined based on experience, qualifications, internal equity, location and company guidelines
