Job Description:
This job is responsible for defining and leading the engineering approach for complex features to deliver significant business outcomes. Key responsibilities of the job include delivering complex features and technology, enabling development efficiencies, providing technical thought leadership based on conducting multiple software implementations, and applying both depth and breadth in a number of technical competencies. Additionally, this job is accountable for end-to-end solution design and delivery.

The Senior Technology engineer provides technical and operational leadership for business-critical technology services. This role owns service health, reliability, resiliency, performance, and continuous improvement across supported applications and infrastructure. The lead serves as a senior escalation point, guides complex incident and problem resolution, establishes operational standards, and communicates service risks and solutions to technical teams, business partners, executives, and vendors. The role also mentors team members and helps shape service-management, DevOps, automation, and governance practices.

Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end service delivery and production support for a portfolio of applications, platforms, and infrastructure services.
• Manage service health through availability, reliability, resiliency, capacity, performance, and operational-risk measures.
• Act as the senior escalation point for high-priority incidents, coordinating triage, stakeholder communications, recovery, and post-incident review.
• Drive root-cause analysis and ensure corrective and preventive actions are completed and sustained.
• Lead incident, problem, change, release, defect, and service-review activities in alignment with established controls.
• Define and improve monitoring, alerting, dashboards, runbooks, support models, and operational-readiness requirements.
• Partner with engineering, architecture, cybersecurity, risk, and business teams to design supportable and resilient technology solutions.
• Promote automation, continuous integration and delivery, observability, and other DevOps practices that reduce manual effort and operational risk.
• Assess production impacts of planned changes and releases, identify dependencies, and coordinate implementation and validation activities.
• Maintain compliance with access, audit, security, regulatory, and administrative requirements; support evidence collection and control reviews.
• Track service-level objectives, key performance indicators, risks, dependencies, and improvement commitments; communicate status to senior stakeholders.
• Mentor team members, provide technical direction, support interviewing and onboarding, and foster a culture of accountability and continuous learning.
• Coordinate internal teams and external vendors to deliver timely, high-quality service outcomes.

Required Qualifications:

• Extensive experience in technology service delivery, technology support, site reliability, infrastructure operations, software engineering, or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated leadership of complex, business-critical services in a large-scale or regulated environment.
• Strong knowledge of incident, problem, change, release, capacity, availability, and service-level management.
• Experience with monitoring, observability, automation, CI/CD, and modern DevOps practices.
• Ability to analyze complex technical issues, make sound decisions under pressure, and coordinate resolution across multiple teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present technical risks and solutions to non-technical and executive audiences.
• Experience managing risk, controls, audit requirements, and technology governance processes.
• Proven ability to mentor others, influence without direct authority, and build productive relationships across business, technology, and vendor teams.
• Experience such as ITIL, cloud, DevOps, site reliability engineering, Agile, or project management.

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Experience with cloud and on-premises technology environments, distributed systems, and enterprise application support.
• Working knowledge of service-management and engineering tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, Splunk, Dynatrace, GitHub, and Jenkins, or comparable platforms.
• Experience with infrastructure as code, automated testing, deployment orchestration, and disaster-recovery practices.

Pay and benefits information

Pay range

$122,000.00 - $200,000.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.

Discretionary incentive eligible

This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan. Employees are eligible for an annual discretionary award based on their overall individual performance results and behaviors, the performance and contributions of their line of business and/or group; and the overall success of the Company.
