About this job

Overview

Lutron Electronics Co., Inc has an immediate opening for a Senior Logistics Analyst. In this position, you would be a senior contributor to the Logistics and Supply Chain teams, accountable for the reliable, end-to-end movement of product across a complex global network. This role leads customer-focused logistics execution across inbound, outbound, and intracompany flows, coordinates international transportation and trade requirements, and uses data, judgment, and influence to protect service, manage risk, and improve total delivered cost. The ideal candidate brings deep global logistics experience, strong customer advocacy, and the ability to lead cross-functional solutions through ambiguity.

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end logistics lifecycle for assigned global product flows, from order readiness and mode selection through delivery, exception resolution, and final closeout
  • Act as a trusted logistics partner and escalation point for internal customers, regional teams, distributors, suppliers, carriers, and customs service providers
  • Design and execute transportation solutions across ocean, air, parcel, truckload, less-than-truckload, and multimodal networks while balancing service, capacity, resilience, compliance, and cost
  • Lead shipment execution and exception management across time zones; anticipate disruptions, develop recovery options, and make timely decisions that minimize customer and business impact
  • Set a high standard for proactive customer communication by translating operational risk into clear updates, choices, commitments, and recovery plans
  • Own international trade and customs coordination for assigned flows, ensuring accurate documentation, classification support, broker alignment, and compliance with applicable requirements and company policies
  • Establish operating rhythms with global stakeholders, including service reviews, escalation paths, handoffs, and performance commitments
  • Lead continuous-improvement projects that raise on-time delivery, shorten lead times, strengthen responsiveness, improve visibility, and reduce avoidable logistics cost
  • Build and interpret logistics performance reporting, including on-time delivery, lead time, freight spend, claims, exception aging, and service reliability; turn findings into prioritized actions
  • Influence without direct authority, facilitate root-cause analysis, document decisions, and ensure commitments are followed through to measurable results
  • Stay aligned to Lutron's culture and values:
    • Be passionate
    • Be flexible and adaptable to changing markets
    • Be an innovative thinker
    • Be customer focused
    • Be ethical

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field
  • 6+ years of progressive experience in global logistics, international transportation, supply chain operations, or a related field; If less than 10 years of experience post academics, minimum, cumulative GPA of 3.00 required
  • Demonstrated success managing end-to-end logistics for international shipments and serving as a senior customer-facing partner
  • Advanced working knowledge of international trade compliance, customs processes, commercial documentation, Incoterms, and cross-border risk
  • Strong analytical and financial acumen, with the ability to evaluate service, capacity, risk, and total landed-cost tradeoffs
  • Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives across regions, cultures, and time zones
  • Excellent judgment and prioritization skills in a fast-paced environment with competing customer and business needs
  • High level of accountability, executive-ready communication, responsiveness, and attention to detail
  • Advanced computer skills; experience with ERP and TMS platforms, MS Office, Power BI, and data visualization or reporting tools
  • You are authorized to work in the U.S. and will not require Lutron to sponsor you for any work visa, such as an H-1B, either immediately or at any time in the future. Lutron does not offer work visa sponsorship for this position.

Key Competencies

  • Customer advocacy and service leadership
  • Global end-to-end logistics ownership

  • Strong organizational, prioritization, and time management skills
