Supply Chain Analyst

This Supply Chain Analyst role provides analytical, operational, and coordination support to a Global Commodity Management team within a robotics-focused supply chain organization. You will serve as the data and process backbone for global commodity managers responsible for vision systems, compute and semiconductors, and passive electronic components across multiple robotics programs. You will maintain visibility into supplier performance, consolidate and analyze procurement spend, support supplier relationship management processes, and deliver market intelligence that informs strategic sourcing decisions. The position requires strong analytical skills, comfort working across multiple data systems, and the ability to translate complex, raw data into clear, actionable insights for procurement leaders. You will work closely with engineering, program management, procurement, buyers, and planning teams, exercising sound judgment in prioritizing work, flagging risks, and maintaining high data integrity without constant supervision.

Responsibilities

• Maintain comprehensive visibility into supplier performance, including cost, quality, delivery, and lead times, to support effective supplier management.
• Analyze purchasing and supplier data from multiple sources to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for cost and risk optimization.
• Consolidate and analyze procurement spend across electronics commodities, including semiconductors, printed circuit boards, passive components, and vision systems.
• Create clear, insightful dashboards and reports for leadership using advanced Excel, Power BI, and other visualization tools to support data-driven decision-making.
• Support supplier relationship management processes by preparing performance scorecards, tracking corrective actions, and contributing to governance reviews.
• Monitor electronics and semiconductor market trends, including pricing, supply-demand imbalances, lead time volatility, and geopolitical risks, and summarize key insights for procurement and engineering stakeholders.
• Provide market intelligence and data-driven recommendations to inform sourcing strategies, supplier selection, and negotiation planning.
• Support sourcing projects by comparing supplier quotes, costs, and commercial terms, including basic should-cost analysis and total cost of ownership considerations.
• Assist in managing commodity scope across semiconductors, PCB, TIM, FET, IMU, antennas, cameras, image sensors, optics, lenses, LIDAR, modules, memory, passive components, compute, and machine vision.
• Work closely with global commodity managers to ensure data accuracy and consistency across all commodity areas and systems.
• Maintain and improve supplier performance measurement frameworks, scorecard methodologies, and governance models.
• Apply spend analysis techniques such as normalization, variance analysis, and total cost of ownership to support long-term cost optimization.
• Support RFQ processes by collecting, organizing, and analyzing supplier bids and preparing comparative summaries for decision-makers.
• Identify supply chain risks, support escalation pathways, and track corrective actions to closure, ensuring issues are documented and visible.
• Collaborate with engineering, program management, procurement, buyers, and planning teams to align commodity decisions with program timelines and technical requirements.
• Communicate procurement data, insights, and risk assessments to non-procurement stakeholders in a clear, concise, and actionable format.
• Use BOM management systems and component specification databases to support accurate sourcing, part substitutions, and lifecycle management.
• Maintain process documentation and libraries using collaboration tools, ensuring that procedures and analyses are organized and accessible.
• Leverage AI tools and advanced analytics to enhance data analysis, forecasting, and reporting where appropriate.
• Exercise sound judgment in prioritizing tasks, managing workload, and escalating issues, while working with limited direct supervision on day-to-day activities.

Essential Skills

• Proven experience in supply chain, supply chain management, or procurement with a focus on analytics and sourcing support.
• Strong proficiency in advanced Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, pivot tables, data analysis, and dashboard creation.
• Demonstrated ability to perform cost analysis, market trend analysis, and supplier forecasting to support procurement decisions.
• Hands-on experience with ERP and procurement systems such as Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS), SAP, Coupa, SWAN, or similar platforms.
• Experience with purchasing, inventory management, and planning processes within a manufacturing or technology environment.
• Ability to analyze and interpret purchasing and supplier data to generate actionable insights for leadership.
• Familiarity with supplier performance measurement frameworks, scorecard methodologies, and governance models.
• Knowledge of spend analysis techniques, including normalization, variance analysis, and total cost of ownership.
• Understanding of RFQ processes, bid analysis, and basic should-cost modeling fundamentals.
• General understanding of electronics component categories such as vision systems, compute and semiconductors, and passive/active components.
• Awareness of market dynamics affecting electronics procurement, including fab capacity, lead time volatility, geopolitical supply risks, and technology lifecycle considerations.
• Familiarity with supplier landscapes across cameras, sensors, processors, memory, and PCB fabrication.
• Proficiency with data visualization and reporting tools, including Power BI or similar platforms, to build dashboards and reports.
• Ability to use collaboration tools and document repositories such as SharePoint for process documentation and knowledge management.
• Experience with BOM management systems and component specification databases.
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and commitment to maintaining data integrity across multiple systems.
• Ability to communicate complex data and procurement insights to non-technical and non-procurement stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
• Comfort working cross-functionally with engineering, program management, procurement, buyers, and planning teams.
• Capability to work independently, prioritize tasks effectively, and exercise sound judgment when flagging risks and issues.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience supporting global commodity management or category management teams in a robotics, electronics, or manufacturing environment.
• Exposure to or interest in robotics, machine vision, and advanced electronics supply chains.
• Familiarity with AI tools to enhance data analysis, automation, and reporting.
• Experience creating and maintaining process libraries and documentation in collaborative platforms.
• Understanding of how procurement decisions impact new product introduction (NPI) timelines and program milestones.
• Knowledge of supply chain risk identification, escalation pathways, and corrective action tracking processes.
• Experience in customer service or stakeholder-facing roles within supply chain or procurement functions.
• Interest in continuously improving analytics, reporting, and processes to support long-term cost and risk optimization.
• Motivation to work in an environment with a strong focus on analytics of supply chain sourcing needs and opportunities for role extension.

Work Environment

This role is fully onsite and embedded within a dynamic supply chain and procurement organization that supports robotics and advanced electronics programs. You will work closely with global commodity managers, engineers, program managers, buyers, and planners in a collaborative, fast-paced setting that emphasizes data-driven decision-making. The environment relies heavily on modern enterprise technologies, including ERP and procurement platforms such as Oracle EBS, SAP, Coupa, and SWAN; data visualization tools such as Excel dashboards and Power BI; collaboration and documentation platforms such as SharePoint; and BOM management and component specification systems. The role focuses on analytics of supply chain sourcing needs, with a strong emphasis on visibility, accuracy, and responsiveness to market changes. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $26.00/hr.
