Supply Chain Specialist

Job Description:

• This individual will be responsible for supporting the North America Supply Chain organization with sourcing projects related to elevator components.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Support sourcing activities including RFQ/RFI preparation and analysis
• Gather drawings and technical requirements for RFQs
• Schedule technical reviews with suppliers and engineering as needed
• Submit first article inspection requests and follow up until completion
• Load supplier pricing in ERP system
• Oversee supplier readiness and material ramp up plans
• Follow up with suppliers for timely implementation
• Work with other functional departments for cadence reporting

Requirements:

• 3-5 years in a supply chain function in a manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of metal fabrication techniques and processes
• Experience with new supplier implementations for OEM.
• Ability to read Engineering drawings and work with drawing databases
• Demonstrated experience working with cross-functional teams
• Proficient in MS office products including Excel and PowerPoint. MS Access a plus.
• Experience using JD Edwards Supply Chain Modules a plus
• Experience in the elevator industry a plus

Education:

• BS or BA in business, supply chain, or engineering.
