Budget Analyst

About the Position:

This position is located within the Resource Management Division at Guthrie Army Health Clinic, Fort Drum, NY.

Serve as a budget analyst within the Resource Management Division performing analysis work in support of the Budget Officer.

Duties

• Responsible for the accomplishment of a Medical Treatment Facility (MTF) level program-budget planning, execution review and analysis functions for a major segment of the MTF assigned missions.
• Operate independently in performing budget development, execution, and review and analysis of assigned segments of the MTF operation budget programs.
• Formulate and revise the annual budget estimate for assigned accounts.
• Research, compiles, and summarizes data for object classes and other line-item information needed for formulation of budget estimates.
• Check the accuracy and adequacy of budget justification data submitted support of budget estimates or requests by comparison with source documents such as employment statistics, project
• Compile and prepare, or oversee the preparation of, a variety of narrative and statistical budgetary forms, schedules, and reports which address the MTF’s budget formulation and/or execution process/status.
