Database Administrator

Freese and Nichols is seeking a Database Administrator in Fort Worth, Texas. As Database Administrator, you will lead and support scalable technology solutions while strengthening system performance, security and long-term reliability. You will partner with stakeholders, guide technical practices and help others grow through continuous learning and mentorship.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Lead continuous learning across emerging technologies, security frameworks and domain-specific innovations while sharing insights and mentoring others
• Collaborate with stakeholders to design scalable solutions that meet business needs and support long-term user satisfaction
• Architect end-to-end solutions that integrate across systems and processes while balancing innovation, maintainability, quality and security
• Lead requirements definition for complex systems, integrations and automation efforts while anticipating operational impacts
• Develop and govern documentation standards for solution architecture, integrations, automation, security and system life cycle needs
• Influence enterprise architecture by designing and integrating scalable, sustainable solutions that support evolving business needs
• Lead modernization efforts that strengthen system resilience, performance and security
• Guide operational life cycle planning and processes that support secure operations, continuous improvement and future scalability

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent level
• 1+ year of relevant experience in database administration
• Ability to collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and deliver scalable technology solutions
• Ability to develop technical documentation and support security, architecture and system life cycle practices
• Ability to mentor others and contribute to continuous improvement in technical practices
