DevOps Engineer

Our Client, an IT Services and Consultant company, is looking for a Devops Engineer for their Mclean, VA location.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of exp as DevOps
• CI/CD pipeline and Jenkins exp
• AWS deployment exp ( ECS fargate, S3, lambda, RDS, Route53, EC2 etc)
• UCD tool exp for AWS deployment ( Cloud formation, yaml, JSON )
• Experience in 2-week Sprints
• Aware of scan tools (SONAR, Fortify Scan etc)
• Experience in groovy and python scripts
• Experience in automating the process
• Created monitors, alarms and notifications for EC2 hosts using Cloud Watch and App Dynamics
• Experience with JFrog Artifactory
• Pipeline as code (PAC)
• Artifactory
• Pipeline integration with security scans (Nexus, Sonar, etc.)
• AWS CloudFormation
• Experience with working in complex environments or at minimum be able to demonstrate advanced problem solving skills – this part I want to highlight and builds on what we discussed earlier this week.
• We have immediate deliverables coming up end of Q3 and into Q4 and have minimal patience for someone who dawdles or requires hand-holding.
• This is really a ‘thrown into the fire’ right away type of situation and you need to know how to use the equipment at your disposal.
• Gitlab
• Terraform (our target state)
• Broader working knowledge of AWS
• Other applicable full stack skills, e.g., Java, Springboot
• Years of Experience: 10.00 Years of Experience
