IT Project Manager

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple concurrent technology initiatives across Infrastructure, Information Security, Business Systems, Operations, Data Engineering, and Analytics teams.

This role is responsible for managing high-visibility projects using Waterfall, Agile, and Hybrid methodologies, while driving collaboration across technical teams, business stakeholders, and third-party vendors. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader who can balance project governance with delivery agility, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple simultaneous IT projects supporting:
  • Infrastructure
  • Information Security
  • Business Systems & Operations
  • Data Engineering & Analytics
• Develop and manage project scope, schedules, timelines, resources, and deliverables
• Lead project status meetings, working sessions, stakeholder reviews, and project communications
• Build and maintain project plans based on scope, priorities, and resource availability
• Manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and escalations
• Coordinate project activities across technical teams, business units, vendors, and external partners
• Provide regular project reporting, including:
  • Project status updates
  • Risk and issue tracking
  • Executive reporting
  • Leadership escalations
• Drive accountability by ensuring teams meet commitments and project milestones
• Identify and remove obstacles impacting project delivery
• Facilitate collaboration and alignment across cross-functional teams
• Support successful adoption of project management best practices while adapting methodologies to business needs
• Ensure projects deliver measurable business value and meet quality expectations

Required Qualifications

• 3-5 years of Information Technology Project Management experience
• Experience managing multiple concurrent technology projects
• Strong understanding of:
  • Waterfall project management
  • Agile methodologies
  • Hybrid project delivery approaches
• Experience developing and managing project schedules, timelines, and deliverables
• Ability to manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and escalations
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Solid understanding of technical environments and ability to communicate effectively with technical teams
• Experience facilitating meetings, managing project reporting, and driving project execution
• Strong organizational, planning, and prioritization skills
• Ability to manage multiple cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment
• Strong relationship-building and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience in an IT-related field
• Experience supporting infrastructure, cybersecurity, business systems, or analytics projects
• PMP (Project Management Professional) certification
• CAPM (Certified Associate in Project Management) certification
• Agile certifications such as:
  • PMI-ACP
  • SAFe certifications
• Experience working with third-party vendors and technology partners
