This position is part of the Air Force Elements, U.S. Transportation Command, Transportation Command. The incumbent will be responsible for Serves as an Executive Communications Specialist within the USTRANSCOM Command, Control, Communications ans Cyber Systems Directorate

Duties

As a IT PROJECT MANAGER at the NH-2210-3 some of your typical work assignments may include:

Requirements

• Incumbent must be able to obtain a government issued passport.
• Incumbent must be physically able to frequently lift and carry medium to heavy objects up to 30 pounds and be able to occasionally lift and carry up to 50 pounds with assistance.
• Incumbent may occasionally be required to work other than normal duty hours and/or Shift work may be required which may include overtime and/or irregular hours.
• Incumbent must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance with access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI).
• This position has been designated by the Air Force as a Testing Designated Position (TDP) under the Air Force Civilian Drug Demand Reduction Program.
• This is a cybersecurity position. employee must attain and maintain appropriate DoD approved cybersecurity Certificate(s) applicable for cybersecurity functions for the DoD position held, within six months of filling the position, IAW DoD 8140
• Must be a U.S. citizen
• Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service
• Overtime: Occasionally

• Telework Eligibility: Situational telework may be authorized based on operational requirements, contingent upon Agency and Supervisor approval.
• Work Schedule: Full time
• May be required to successfully complete a probationary period
• Travel and relocation expenses, if approved, will be paid IAW JTR and AFMAN 36-606
• Work may occasionally require travel away from the normal duty station on military or commercial aircraft/vehicle to conferences, meetings, or functions away from the duty office/location. Travel may include overnight stays
• An undergraduate degree in Information Technology, or a related field, is highly desirable.
