To support in the implementation of the business plan through managing and developing client relationships, contributing to business development assignments, managing client’s assignments, representing the office/ team in the market
Provide support to t eam lead and help supp ort and develop the team as we s eek to double our turnover in the next 2-3 years.
Manage day-to-day responsibility for project delivery and reporting
Fulfil revenue and profit targets
M aintain , develop and strengthen strategic relationships with new and existing clients, actively developing business opportunities
Day-to-day liaison with assigned client representative(s) during the course of an instruction
Establish and maintain own and team profile internally and externally through effective PR and deal promotion
Manage or contribute to initial discussions, preparation of tender documents, delivering pitches/ presentations and conducting negotiations
Ensure projects, reports, are delivered on time and in budget and to client objectives
Strengthen Cushman & Wakefield’s integrated portfolio by building links across business groups and global office network and working collaboratively to generate new instructions, pool expertise and provide advice
Proactively looks for and is able to target new business and revenue opportunities with new and existing clients
Manage and liaise with internal teams and external consultants to provide a full service to the client . Including o versee ing communication, reporting and documentation from C&W local offices to ensure high quality service standards
Create and implement plans for gathering and acting on client feedback
Advise clients on portfolio strategy and optimisation solutions
Identify and deliver cross-selling opportunities for other areas of the business
Contribute to projecting annual fee income via accurate fee forecasting/managing potential fee pipeline
Effectively use established systems for debtor and disbursement recovery to secure cash flow and profitability, e.g. billing, debt pricing, costings etc
Understanding of product pricing and maintain profitable fee structures
Grow revenue and profitability generated by existing clients
Ensure timesheets are up to date and reflective of current work
Ensure own and team’s work complies with firm procedures and guidelines (health & safety, quality, risk, professional code of conduct, etc.)
Identify , manage and mitigate risks by implementing plans to review output of quality and risk procedures and achieve clear internal and external audit reports
Support and help drive both internal and external processes
Provide on-going coaching, mentoring and other development opportunities for Director reports and/or Surveyors/ Consultants; conduct performance reviews with direct reports
Keep own knowledge of relevant case law up to date
Lead and co-ordinate the work of team on client projects; prioritise activities and delegate on the basis of appropriate expertise and development needs of team
Sets and achieves own objectives in line with business plan and update with line manager as necessary
Undertake and record the requisite amount of Continuing Professional Development (CPD)
Participate in non-fee generating activities such as graduate recruitment, L&D, resourcing and support local office social activities
Bring fresh ideas and innovation to the group to enable a level of self-improvement
Degree level qualification but not essential
Proven track record across a variety of sectors
Experience of leading projects to deliver seamless client service
Demonstrable ability to take responsibility of sizeable and complex client instructions
Business development and client relationship management. Demonstrable understanding of client needs
Experience in networking and building relationships internally and externally
Experience selling successfully to clients
Experience in lead client contact positions, conducting pitches and presentations
Demonstrable technical competence in areas relevant to role
In-depth market and local knowledge in the relevant business area
In-depth knowledge of the real estate industry sector
Financial acumen and budget management
High level business and report writing experience
In-depth knowledge of current legislation and case law relevant to role
Some experience in managing people and teams
IT skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Internet)
Strong eye for detail at all times
Pro-active approach
Excellent presentation skills in the output and delivery of client work
Ideally, experience of international real estate markets or working in a cross-border role
Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time, maintaining an excellent quality of service
