- $23.1037 - $32.5092 per hour
- $250 sign-on bonus after the completion of 90 days of employment at IRC with work performance in good standing.
- $500 sign-on bonus after the completion of 6 months of employment at IRC with work performance in good standing.

- Assist Payroll Specialist & Payroll Technician in processes to complete payroll accurately in UKG Pro Workforce Management system.
- Assist Payroll Specialist & Payroll Technician in investigating discrepancies as needed in a timely manner.
- Verify and assist employees to use correct pay codes according to hours worked.
- Assist employees with timesheet issues and Payroll forms/processes.
- Maintain correct balances for Longevity and Military Leave, and help employees complete applicable forms.
- Reconcile and prepare check requests accurately for monthly disbursement of voluntary and mandatory deductions such as child support, garnishments, medical, dental etc.
- Reconcile employee’s biweekly deductions, process check request and verify with UKG Pro Business Intelligence (BI) reports. Maintain separate Excel spreadsheets for deductions as needed or required.
- After each pay period, process journal entries to transfer Flexible Spending Account (FSA) funds, verify with UKG BI report.
- Update and verify and enter employee accruals in UKG.
- Maintain Payroll files and ensure they are up to date; work with Facilities to remove old files from Payroll and placed in storage.
- Comply with agency Personnel Policies and Procedures.
- Maintain good attendance and punctuality.
- Keep supervisor informed of pending work, work in progress and problems encountered.
- Work cooperatively and effectively with others. Perform as a member of the team, answer questions, share expertise and contribute to the harmony of the team.
- Handle change well and be flexible and adaptable in dealing with interruptions, new priorities and new assignments.
- Perform different or additional work as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Eighteen (18) months of clerical accounting work to include 18 months Accounts Payable (A/P) and one-year heavy key entry.
- Knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting terminology practices and procedures.
- Knowledge of office practices and procedures.
- Ability to direct and coordinate the work of others.
- Ability to reconcile differences within the record keeping system requiring an understanding of the relationships among accounting records and documents.
- Ability to use ten key/calculator proficiently.
- Knowledge and ability to work with Excel proficiently.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Must maintain a high level of confidentiality.
- Full use of automobile, possession of a valid driver's license and automobile liability insurance for the minimum amount prescribed by law, or ability to provide for independent transportation. Must have and maintain safe driving record.
SUMMARY: Under general supervision of Payroll Manager, perform fiscal clerical work in connection with the calculation, examination, and reconciliation of fiscal records related to employee attendance and payroll. Perform related work as required.
