What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Cultivate and close identified clients within local government agencies
- Develop and execute effective sales strategies for advanced payment solutions
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision makers
- Conduct discovery calls to understand clients’ payment ecosystems and challenges
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales cycle and offer post-sales support
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 2-5 years of experience in technical software field sales and integration efforts
- Proven track record of meeting monthly sales quotas
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and drive action
- Ability to analyze merchant statements and develop pricing strategies
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience selling payment solutions into the Government sector
- Experience selling embedded payment solutions into an existing SaaS client base
- Strong negotiation and closing skills
- Solution-oriented with creative thinking skills for problem evaluation
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
