What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Own and execute go-to-market sales within assigned accounts in the Northeast
- Develop and manage a sales pipeline to exceed quota and provide accurate forecasts
- Build trusted relationships with public agencies, engineering firms, and regional partners
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, customer success, and partner teams
- Lead complex deal management through procurement and funding cycles
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Over five (5) years of sales experience in transportation, infrastructure technology, or public sector SaaS/hardware
- Proven ability to manage a sales quota and consistently meet or exceed targets
- Experience navigating government procurement processes and funding sources
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Prior experience selling intelligent transportation systems, traffic sensors, or analytics software to the public sector
- Experience with indirect or partner-led sales models, such as dealer/distributor relationships
- Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM platforms
