What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Own and execute go-to-market sales within assigned accounts in the Northeast
- Develop and manage a sales pipeline to exceed quota and forecast with accuracy
- Build trusted relationships with public agencies, engineering firms, and regional partners
- Manage complex sales deals through procurement and funding cycles
- Provide detailed forecasting via Salesforce and maintain accurate opportunity hygiene
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Over five (5) years of sales experience, ideally in transportation, infrastructure technology, or public sector SaaS/hardware
- Proven ability to manage a quota and consistently meet/exceed targets
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to travel up to 50% within the assigned territory
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Prior experience selling intelligent transportation systems (ITS), traffic sensors, analytics software, or SaaS to the public sector
- Experience navigating government procurement, funding sources, and RFPs
- Familiarity with indirect or partner-led sales motion (dealer/distributor model)
