What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Own and execute go-to-market sales strategies within assigned accounts in North Texas
- Develop and manage sales pipeline to exceed quotas and provide accurate forecasts
- Build and maintain relationships with public sector agencies, consultants, and channel partners
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver comprehensive hardware and software solutions
- Lead complex sales processes through procurement and funding cycles
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Over five (5) years of sales experience, ideally in transportation technology or public sector SaaS/hardware
- Proven record of managing quotas and consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Experience with government procurement processes and RFPs
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Familiarity with TxDOT, CAMPO, NCTOG, or related planning agencies
- Experience with indirect or partner-led sales models (dealer/distributor)
- Previous experience selling intelligent transportation systems or traffic analytics software
- Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM platforms
- Willingness to travel up to 50% within the assigned territory
