What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Drive revenue growth for large, diverse, complex territories
- Proactively prospect, identify, qualify, develop, and close a sales pipeline
- Own the development, presentation, and sales of a compelling value proposition
- Collaborate with Solutions Engineers & Professional Services to ensure customer success
- Create and nurture relationships with customers and partners to drive growth opportunities
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 5+ years of experience in quota-carrying sales roles in a competitive market
- Prior experience in Big Data, Consumption, Cloud, SaaS, Open Source, or Enterprise IT Solutions
- Proven track record of success in executing strategic sales strategies and driving revenue growth
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral, including outstanding presentation skills
- BS/BA degree or equivalent preferred
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous sales methodology training (i.e., MEDDPICC, Challenger, etc.)
- History of overachieving sales quotas and targets
- Highly developed negotiation and customer relations skills
- Open to travel to customer locations as needed
