      Account Manager

      The Account Manager plays a vital role within the organization and successfully supports various North American Clients. This role will manage day-to-day account activities and work with internal partners to ensure client expectations and overall satisfaction are met. These duties include providing Supply-Chain visibility and analytical solutions specific to each client's needs and coordinating the implementation of Supply-Chain related projects. The ideal candidate will bring a positive attitude, possess extensive Supply-Chain and Logistics knowledge, possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, and demonstrate the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

      Responsibilities:

      • Develop trusted advisor relationships at all levels of the client's organization.
      • Gather substantial intel on the client's organizational structure to understand their supply chain and understand the key buying influences.
      • Point of truth / assurance /information with dynamic shifts in domestic and global supply changes
      • Maintain a working relationship with carriers, keeping in touch with changes in the market, new services, and sharing these changes with our customers and our associates.
      • Deliver Carrier RFP results, analysis, and recommendations
      • Addressing and fixing ongoing operational issues.
      • Work within dynamic teams comprised of internal and external stakeholders utilizing multiple resources to achieve client and company solutions objectives.
      • Develops and owns the client account planning process and lifecycle management, including quarterly business reviews and consistent touchpoints.
      • Identify areas requiring sourcing events and sales opportunities
      • Implementation of new clients & management of implementation project
      • Manage projects from inception through delivery, ensuring completion of the project objectives on schedule.
      • Liaison between the internal execution team and the client operations organization.
      • Develop, Review, and adjust client-specific SOPs with the execution team lead.
      • Drive, coordinate, and deliver all customer reviews, updates, and communications and articulate the value proposition of all product/solutions/services offerings.
      • Establish customer-specific KPIs and provide direction for reporting and analytics with an internal analyst.
      • Deliver analytics and interpretation of KPI information to the client.
      • Develop and maintain a scorecard to present critical KPIs (including carrier/supplier performance) to the internal and external stakeholders.

      Requirements:

      • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain & Logistics or Business or a related field is preferred.
      • 3-4+ years Supply-Chain, Logistics & Transportation experience.
      • 2-3+ years of experience in Account OR Project Management.
      • Strong organizational skills with an emphasis on multi-tasking and project management.
      • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general industry documentation/communications.
      • Strong communication and presentation skills (verbal and written).
      • Demonstrate and consistently execute problem-solving and negotiation skills.
      • Demonstrate time management skills, proven ability to prioritize and plan work, set goals, and objectives through developing achievable plans.
      • Demonstrate the ability to develop innovative approaches and ideas, display original thinking and creativity while generating opportunities and recommendations for improvement.
      • Advanced computer skills, including full proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
      • Strong analytical and investigative skills with an emphasis on multi-tasking.
      • 10% - 20% travel.
