- Maintains regular contacts with regional customers and finds new ones leveraging Dana product portfolio through personal visits, offers, etc.
- Is THE link to the regional customers, drives the business to a long-term partnership, ensures revenue retention and growth
- Supports the relationship with global customers in the country, according to guidelines by global key account managers
- Leads cross-functional Dana teams (Engineering, Quality, Operations and others) in the relationship with customers so to assure the best technical and commercial support and to reach and exceed the country sales targets
- Establishes strategic and tactical plans to maximize profitability
- Reports and monitors the results of all activities developed in the area on a regular basis so to improve the knowledge of the local market
- Maintains current knowledge of competitor’s activity, reports and give inputs about countermeasures
- Identifies technological trends that can lead to medium/long-term game changers
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
- Commercial and technical sales background
- Minimum 5 years direct sales / account management
- Experience and knowledge of the Off-Highway industry, customers, platforms, processes
- Familiar with drivelines: axles, transmissions and driveshafts, as well as electric/electronic parts such as motors, inverters, ECUs, etc.
- Strong ability to build and maintain relationships
- Solution-oriented and analytical approach
- Excellent/Native Italian and fluent English required, German and a third language being a plus
- Creative thinking approach to integrate diverse ideas and perspectives together with a visionary mindset
- Willingness to travel 50%
- Comfortable in working in a high-performance culture where engagement has a high priority
