We're seeking a full time Account Manager (Multifamily).
Job Summary:
The HVAC Account Manager for Residential Sales oversees residential and contractor sales of Carrier & Bryant equipment and HVAC parts, and supplies. This role will be a crucial influence in securing new contractors and maintaining existing client relationships while being accountable for driving sales and maintaining a strong customer base in their territory. This position is eligible for performance-based bonuses and incentives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Territory Analysis: Analyze your territory and develop, execute, and monitor sales programs that will attract competitor accounts and new customers.
Relationship Building: Create and develop long-term relationships with both existing and new customers.
Customer Management: Manage any customer issues and resolve them in a timely manner.
Primary Contact: Serve as the primary point of contact for customers and build long-term relationships with them.
Business Development: Proactively generate new business opportunities while developing and executing strategic plans to help grow existing customers' business.
Sales Meetings: Attend sales meetings with management to review monthly activities and progress or issues.
Digital Programs: Ability to present and manage Watsco Ventures and digital programs.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
Demonstrated performance history in sales and new market development.
Equipment, parts, supplies, and light commercial HVAC experience highly preferred.
Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence.
Highly motivated self-starter that can manage time independently.
Strong business/problem-solving skills, high sense of urgency, and strong communication/interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Excel and CRM-Salesforce preferred.
Process-oriented with attention to detail.
Requirements:
Minimum High School Diploma or GED; Associate or Bachelor degree preferred.
3 years of technical experience in HVAC preferred.
Account management experience.
Highly motivated self-starter.
Must maintain a positive attitude and have strong customer service skills.
Must be proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Must possess the ability to problem-solve and multi-task.
Driver’s License: Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.
